Kathy Hilton says she has ‘repeatedly apologized’ to her sister Kyle Richards for sparking a feud

Kathy Hilton claims she has ‘repeatedly apologized’ to her sister Kyle Richards after igniting a feud and saying regrettable things off-camera to Lisa Rinna.

While the socialite, 63, insisted that she and her younger sibling, 53, have mended fences, the drama is about to be rehashed on an upcoming episode of their hit Bravo series the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

‘I said some things about Kyle that I shouldn’t have said. It was how I was feeling. I never said anything about Lisa. I told them to Lisa and it was off camera. I think she just was unhappy that I said anything,’ she told E! News Daily Pop about the fight.

The drama surrounding the hurtful comments made by Kathy – who is the mother of Paris, Nicki, Barron and Conrad with her husband Richard Hilton – is set to air as part of the 12th season of the hit Bravo reality show.

Through tears, Kyle said: ‘I feel like you hate me or something. How could you say those things?’

During an appearance on Channel Seven’s The Morning Show on Tuesday, the mother-of-four was quizzed about exposing her private life on the small screen.

Host Larry Emdur asked: ‘Do you ever look back and think back and go, ‘Too much. That shouldn’t be on TV. That’s too much of me.’

‘Yes, absolutely,’ Kyle responded. ‘But they’re following us around, they know what’s going on in our lives behind the cameras.

‘And inevitably it always comes out, but that is what it is. That’s part of the downside.’

Kyle also discussed her issues with big sister Kathy, after she was asked how filming affects her family dynamics.

'I said some things about Kyle that I shouldn't have said. It was how I was feeling. I never said anything about Lisa. I told them to Lisa and it was off camera. I think she just was unhappy that I said anything,' she told E! News Daily Pop about the fight; seen in 2021

‘That’s very difficult,’ Kyle said. ‘When my sister Kim [Richards] was on, it was great, and then it was awful. It was one of the worst times on the show for me ever.

‘With Kathy, I was like, ‘It’s gonna be great, we’re gonna have fun.’ And we really did last season. And of course, something happened this season, but we are sisters, we’re blood, so we’ll always come back together again at the end of the day.’

Kyle has had a difficult relationship with her sisters Kathy and Kim over the years.

But Kyle and her sisters put their differences aside and started speaking again following the death of their childhood friend Lorene Shea.

‘This whole situation of losing my best friend, Lorene, has brought, my sisters and I are speaking again because they’ve also known Lorene since she was seven, so life works in funny ways,’ she said during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

‘You said you were speaking again?’ host Andy Cohen clarified.

‘Well we were having a little bit of a rough patch after the season,’ Kyle said of herself and Kathy.

‘And Kim?’ Andy asked.

‘We have good and rough patches here and there, as you may have heard. But no, we’re all… we’re in a good situation right now,’ Kyle said.

Speaking with Page Six, Kyle called herself ‘naïve’ for believing they had put their fighting ways behind them despite their ‘history’ of being at odds.

‘I really thought we would never get into an argument again,’ Kyle said.

“We didn’t talk for so long, [and] it was so painful for us and our children, and I was like we would never put ourselves in that position again.’
